I'd pay attention to what the fellow is saying. It doesn't look like he's joking (although with an
accent like that, who would actually know?)
As I mentioned on the first page of the showcase, the trolls here are those that bear a similarity to
those that like to shout "Oi! Dat's me toe!" In the end, they still happen to be of the "work-for-hire" type
that's in demand, so you can compare their looks and prices at your leisure.
Now I'm not sure what armies you can attach them
to in this edition of the game, so I won't go into how best to use them on the field.
I'm just here to showcase them, after all.

It must be a wicked entity, if this Black Tree has Designs for things, especially my kind. A veritable family reunion is there to be found under its branches, be they river, mountain, or barrens trolls.
Barrens troll? Wait, that's not in any of the Monstruous Manuals that I've browsed through...

For some reason, all my far relatives from the Alionas region of Germany are called Max. All of them. For those wondering, yes, they have pink skin here. But just who said what colour troll-skin was? And if your opinion about their colour differs, just splash them with a can of paint!

The Alternate Armies mercenary camp is renown throughout the world, especially for its continuing contributions to the wars of Bonaparte and his elvish equivalent, Mordred. But long before the age of gunpowder came along was it that trolls were deeply employed in their ranks.

It might come as a surprise to many of you, but the sword of Arthur, king of the Britons, does not lie in the lands of Albion, but in the dark forests of Germany. I know this because I once visited one cousin from this Teutonic land, and saw the fabled sword before my very eyes. Too bad the imbecile decided to use it as a singing toothpick...

A family of stuborn, dedicated trolls (aren't we all?) live in great numbers by a resin mine in the farthest reaches of France. I can’t help but wonder if the mine has been giving them those features...

When the Greek god Ares decided to rest in Iberia, the vale where he rest was forever known as Mars Ultor. It became over the years, a great valley, equal to that in Nottingham, where creatures of all sorts came to fight for both good and evil. It was only a matter of time before the troll-kin made their appearance there.

I know that word from the famed Foundry of Nottingham has been scant of late, and I do have a theory why that is. As you might know, there are a couple of my cousins employed by the foundry, all of whom seem to have been given important tasks. I cannot think of anything more disruptive and wasteful of funds than to employ our kind in the most delicate of tasks...
Hiring cost: Quite a drain at 36 US Dollars/ 20 Pounds. Available only in a 125 US Dollars/ 60 Pounds deal. |
