People who aren't mongoloids would be perfectly capable of comprehending that US military-industrial interests can be suspect while Russia is also run by fascists.

So the world has been very aware of the Russian oligarch gangsters from the time of Yeltsin. Many are on the run abroad, with London being a favourite destination. A lot of these are hated by the Russian people and government although it is thought Putin has a number of "tame" oligarchs whom his administration has some hold over.

Not so widely known is how Ukraine has its own oligarch problem, including corrupt government officials, that are turning it into just as much of a gangster state. Again London is a favourite destination for their ill-gotten gains due to notoriously lax regulation of financial and property transactions since the time of Thatcher. A money-laundering paradise with 1000s of high-value real-estate properties being bought up as this BBC documentary investigates:

Cold War is done, but Putin is still attacking the USA. And other Western states. And recently took down Finnish government servers.

Stupid tit for tat
'they attacked this server'
'well you're blocking access to our assets'
'cos you STOLE Crimea'
'cos you ignored the votes of the Crimea and Donbas'
'but you.... et fucking cetera...'

How about a bit of statesmanship and tell the poor little psychopaths who missed their latest killing on some market in Russian souls to fuck off and lets have a bit of peace and stability?

How far do we want to go back arguing whose fault 'it' is? 1990? 1917? 1815? 1795? 1569?

What do we do NOW?

Sit down with Vlad, sort out a proper modus vivendi and stop sabre rattling.

We've both got bigger threats to our way of life.

Give it up, Bron.
You're determined to have a conversation that no one can be bothered with.
You keep trying to inject some debate into it, but no one's interested.

Valiant attempt and all that, but you're flogging a dead horse.

Also, I think you miss the point: both Russia and the U.S. NEED a cold war. Russia to keep people scared and obedient, the U.S. to have an excuse to continue with military Keynesianism. That Putin and Trump continue to be buds in spite of all the rhetoric is a minor feat of diplomatic brilliance.
