Works of literature worth frothing over (or avoiding like the pox).

I happened across this review a few days ago:http://www.gradyhendrix.com/book-review-the-little-people/
Sounds totally bonkers. I haven't read it, had never even heard of it before, but a book about S&M Nazi Leprechauns written by the White Mountains guy sounds like something that needed to be posted to Frothers right away.
The chances of anything coming from Mars are a million to one, he said.

It bugs me that he is always referred to as 'the Tripods Guy'. They never call Felix Salten 'That guy who wrote a porn novel about an 8-year old girl having sex with her dad'.
Some of his SF is like John Wyndeham, but good. Actual bad things happen to the main characters. No Cosy Catastrophes in 'The Death of Grass' or 'The World in Winter'. If John Christopher had written 'Day of the Trifids' it would have been the greatest book ever.
Nazi Leproporn Jewish S/M Sex Dwarves with Bullwhips does sounda a teensy bit mad though. Let me know if you get hold of a copy!
