I keep forgetting that blue is good and red is bad in the US. I was just about to say who's giving all that money to Trump

I suspect this Trump/McConnell flagrant hypocrisy will actually backfire. The idiot Trump cultists were already voting for him and any Senator with craven minion status already but any wavering person with half a frontal lobe or many too lazy to vote normally types may rise up and punish this as a step too far even for Mitch & the Orange Idiot.

I actually sent my largest contribution to any political anything this AM, split between Biden and the Democratic Senatorial campaign committee.

Does a State turn bad when its color changes from blue to red on the map?

I think an argument can be made that it turns demonstrably stupider. Indiana, West Virginia and Kentucky have become solidly Republican over the past twenty years and their economic success, health status and educational achievement have regressed when compared to states such as Colorado, Oregon and Washington that have moved from swing to solidly blue status where there comparative success has increased. Given the preference of Trump and his ilk for the uneducated and the unsuccessful, this should not be a surprise. Republicans have made the transition from the party of Wall Street to the party of anti-science, distrust of education and the embrace of religious zealotry in its' most virulent white nationalist forms so considering all that, bad may well be accurate.

New total for Act Blue 100 Million Dollars. Biden is still leading in all 6 of the swing states, he only needs 3 of them to reach 270 Trump needs all 6 to reach 270.
