Doctor Who

I buy them as they come out on Amazon, have a "season pass." But on Amazon they come out a few days after BBC America airs them, so for us the latest episode was "Amy's Choice." Which I loved, but it old news for you guys.

Yep. Boring and attention seeking as usual. Bet you're really glad he's a Who expert

just watched it. Quite enjoyed the episode. Matt is scene stealing like a demon. Probably becoming my most favorite doctor so far. Writing is improving, good use of comedy.

Looking forward to next weeks episode ( which you KNOW is going to be a part 1 affair)

Two cracking episodes - really enjoyed the Van Gogh exercise and while I normally can't stand James Corden and only starting running the programme in the background, I got steadily hooked on sitting down and watching it. Nicely planned for the World Cup and all the sofa sportsmen, loved the Doctor doing 'normal bloke' stuff. Nice jokes in there.

Agree the Doctor seemed slightly underwhelmed by finding a larger and more menacing TARDIS sitting there - who's was it and where are they?

They just said the crew was dead - which was why the hologram was trying to find a suitable new pilot.

It's either just an ickle stand alone episode or it may have a greater significance in the future - only Time will tell!

Only thing I didnt get was why a kiss and our chubby mate could save the day. I admit my kid was screaming at me to spend time with him at that point, so I might have missed the dialogue. But it did seem rather handwavium at the end. Loved the whole buildup but with a very unsatisfying climax..... hey that reminds me of this time in at a massa..........

I think the idea of a tardis like ship not of Timelord construction demanded more exposition and exploration.

it was because he had no desire to leave... the ship needed someone who with what is a essentially a sense of adventure...
