I hope this was sarcasm.

Keep hoping. Personally, I find these messages after programmes, especially fictional ones, to be somewhat insulting to the intelligence of the viewer.

and what of the families who may not quite get what their loved is doing or saying? pennies always need a nudge to drop...

Shit, when it said "if you want to talk to someone about any issues raised by this program" I assumed the Beeb were refering to being Scottish and ginger, and the every present problem of invisible chicken monsters.

Its probably more scared of you than you are of it, though.

Any show which features a 'real world' issue such as suicide, depression ad infinitum is required to supply a hotline at the end for those who may be affected by such issues.
Also as the show is partly made by BBC Wales it is expected to make at least one episode which highlights the issues surrounding suicide. Primarily due to the rising number of suicides in Wales per year when compared to the rest of the UK.

I cant fault the acting in the episode however I cant help but feel the writing was somewhat weak.

I got a bit bored so I went off and watched Caves of Androzani instead, to see if the old series actually were any any good. I rather enjoyed it. Pretty much all the technical aspects were rubbish but the acting and script were pretty darn good.

No I think the suicide option only applies to those having to live in Wales :wry:

Heavy handed dialogue, rubbish monster, Karen "I must be emoting cos my eyes are a bit bigger" Gillan...

vs

Looked lovely, couple of nice one liners, Tony Curran being really rather good...

Can't decide this one. :?

What's the suicide rate in Provence these days?
