Are fantasy football games popular in Europe? 'Cause I've never even seen Bloodbowl played here. Anyway, three separate teams by three different companies are now available. :loopy:

Willy Miniatures is crowdfunding their Chaos Team. Nothing special so far, just renders of beastmen in some gladiator-style armor.

Kraken Miniatures is crowdfunding their Secret Weapons - Halloween Carnival team. Yet another take on silly orcs and goblins, it looks like.

If they make it to $5500, they've got designs for four more.

Gaspez Arts is crowdfunding their Psyco Pigs team. I think they're very rough for Gaspez. They're only previewing models after they're painted, but you can see the lot of them behind the annoying question-marks.

That's the first time I've seen Spiderman ripped off for a goblin.

Clearly falls in the parody segment though, so it's fair use.

I'm not getting sucked into it. It's already $245 to get at least one of everything except the resin pieces. Still, I might watch fleabay after it's delivered to see about picking up some bits here and there.

I'll see you there.

Better make a note in next year's diary then; delivery November '13 :loopy:

Not directly figure-related, but for sculptors looking for a manikin that you can properly pose, this looks pretty interesting...

:froth:

IIRC someone on planetFigure was using something similar - a super-articulated 'blank' action figure. Looked well good, except it was some OOP thing that had to be imported from Japan.

I can buy a manikin similar to that in the Art Supply store downtown.

With this project we'll be able to produce 4 new miniatures. These miniatures have already been sculpted and are ready to be sent off for moulding and put into production. The miniatures will be cast in a durable and highly detailed plastic material capable of capturing all the detail of the master just as beautifully as the normal lead alloy used in other Imbrian Arts miniatures.
