So this time he's going to try to quietly, and sneakily, disappear. Hoping that no one will notice...

John Morse is still posting on his own facebook - not tony though.

Also weirdly, when they set up defiance games they didn't bother to register all the domain names like .co.uk, .org, .net

well the domain name is still registered

[Querying whois.verisign-grs.com]
[whois.verisign-grs.com]
Whois Server Version 2.0
Domain names in the .com and .net domains can now be registered
with many different competing registrars. Go to http://www.internic.net
for detailed information.
Domain Name: DEFIANCEGAMES.COM
Registrar: GODADDY.COM, LLC
Whois Server: whois.godaddy.com
Referral URL: http://registrar.godaddy.com

Name Server: NS1.DREAMHOST.COM
Name Server: NS2.DREAMHOST.COM
Name Server: NS3.DREAMHOST.COM
Status: clientDeleteProhibited
Status: clientRenewProhibited
Status: clientTransferProhibited
Status: clientUpdateProhibited
Updated Date: 14-jan-2014
Creation Date: 13-jan-2011
Expiration Date: 13-jan-2015
<<

and a 403 error (which this is returning) means the content is being blocked at the host end

so it looks like their host (dreamhost http://www.dreamhost.com/) is not returning the content, their reasons for doing that is open to conjecture, but hey this is DG so we can guess they've stopped paying for hosting and the site has been taken down.

Tony probably forgot to pay his internet hosting service because he was so busy packing and shipping product.

Here at Defiance we are always looking at innovation and pushing the boundaries of established business practices. We are currently working on a new method of delivering our website content to you.

Does anybody here read swahili?

the KS comments are now at the stage where the backers are blaming themselves... or even KS... but not Defiance...
