Hey guys, I'm glad you are liking everything, and thanks for the comments! The smaller models are now with the metal casters, and I should be getting casts back within the next 2 weeks! :D

About the Kiwi...as Andrew said, the tail isnt right... not only are large feathers a royal pain in the arse to do well, im finding it difficult to place them and order them in the right way around the backside of the bird... its a good job I did it as a separate piece ;) Any ideas lads?

Pygostyles and rectrices.

Cutting them out altogether is also an option, if you're not as attached to them as the bird is.

Hey lads, thanks for the comments!

Updates gentlemen!

Death Kiwi... I decided against the faffy feathered tail... it was very difficult to sculpt correctly, and it would be another separate piece, making the casting of the model more expensive. So I went with the easy option, with a hadropod-like tail -

And a new sculpt, a Boss for my Bayourks! The one I did before was stupidly out of scale (even bigger than a GW Ogre Tyrant!), So I decided to do another one:

A scale shot!

I know he looks a wee bit skinny at the moment, but dont worry, he will be a big bastard when I've finished with him ;)

The problem is... do I cast him in metal, or resin? What do you think?
