Ladies and Gentlemen!

May I announce the 1st EVER Annual Golden Griffling Painting Competition!

Image

The Rules -

Because it is the first ever Golden Griffling, there will not be any particular "theme"... just submit anything you want! HOWEVER - any entry MUST be accompanied by a tale, a background story of your character. Who are they? What have they done? What are they going to do? Please take care to put thought into this, as the tale of your warrior, monster or warband will count towards the marking!

All entries submitted must be a Warploque Miniatures model(s). Models that have pieces from ANY other company cannot be submitted, thats just not fair! However, I am more than happy for you to convert, chop up, rearrange or even sculpt part of your models, as long as they are in keeping with the theme of ArcWorlde! If you would like to learn more about the world, and the WIP wargame that we are working on, email me at warplockmonkey@googlemail.com and I will send you the current version of the PDF Playtesting Manual!

The Prizes -

1st Prize - A ?25 voucher for Warploque Miniatures, and a hand sculpted trophy depicting your greatness! As well as this, your character will be written into the very story of ArcWorlde, to be immortalised for all time!

2nd Prize - A ?10 voucher for Warploque Miniatures

3rd Prize - A ?5 voucher for Warploque Miniatures

Bonus Prize - This prize goes to the entry with the storyline we like the best, one which really stands out from the rest! The winner of this prize get a ?5 voucher for Warploque Miniatures, and your character will also be written into the very story of ArcWorlde, to be immortalised for all time!

How to submit -

To submit your entry, email your pictures and your story to warplockmonkey@googlemail.com no later than 23:59pm on the 25th of December 2012 (GMT + 0:00) Entries will not be accepted after that date and time regardless of how awesome your submission is!

If for some reason you are having trouble with your submission, contact me by the same email address. In order to avoid balls ups... please don't wait until the very last minute to submit your entry!

You have just over 7 weeks ... hop to it guys!

What do you think? Are you planning on entering?

Cheers!

Hey guys, just a reminder about the Bayourk Brutes and Krunk the Barbarian Pre-Order... these guys really havn't done very well so far ( what have I done wrong? :P ), but hopefully we can fund them a bit more! Both of these models would be a great addition to any fantasy project! The Bayourks stand more than a head taller than GW orcs ( I can't show comparrison pictures as I've been told off for that before ), and Krunk would be at home in just about any marauding army! :P

Bayourk Brutes - ?12 - http://www.warploqueminiatures.co.uk/products/wrp-042/pre-order-bayourk-brute-pack

Hulking monsters from the depths of Da Swamp, these Bayourks, or Swamp Orcs, would be a brilliant addition to ANY Orc army or warband, not just for ArcWorlde!

And here are all the hands you get with the kit so you can customise your 'Ourks the way you want! Oh, and a hat :P They are all shown based on 25mm bases, not 20, so they really are bloody big!

Image

We also have Krunk the Barbarian - ?7 - http://www.warploqueminiatures.co.uk/products/wrp-043/pre-order-krunk-barbarian

A mighty and fearless warrior from the North (of course), this guy would be perfect for any RPG or Dungeon based gaming! Not only that, but he has three different weapons to smite his gazillions of foes, all included!

Hey guys!

Due to very poor sales, the deadline for the Pre-Order for the Bayourk Brutes and Krunk the Barbarian has been extended to the 18th of November 2012. That means you have an extra FIVE days to take advantage and grab some of these fantastic models!

Quite like the Albionnican guys, but I'd be more likely to order without the ogre included.
Have you considered offering the other figures as a group, and him as an optional extra?

Sorry mate timeing is bad, would love to get myself a krunk at least, but between all the recent kickstarters, and the fact that I just had to buy a new computer because the old one died on me, and the upcomming holiday season I shouldn't and won't be buying any minis for a while.

How you make it though so I can buy it somewhere in the future
