The end times are (rumoured) to bring about the end of the Old world...
From apparently very reliable sources the warhammer world as we know it is going to be destroyed, GW apparently plan to have the setting become "islands", bubbles of reality floating in some kind of warp, when they collide is when the wars happen, though in particularily big bubbles there may well be war raging between the factions trapped there anyway.
Apparently 9th edition will only see army books for 6 armies, the rest of the factions are to be destroyed in the end times, (factions but not races) their survivours are to be mashed into whatever factions GW decide.
E.g. something like a combined Human dwarf ogre army.
Elves will all be in one book apparently.
etc.
If these rumours are true (and they come from multiple sources) then Warhammer Fantasy as we know it is going to become something radically different...

I haven't bought anything from GW in donkeys years and this is not going to entice me back, a horrible sculpt in my humble opinion. There is a GW shop opened in Inverness and has been for a wee while now, walked past it and have never felt the need to go in, a shame as I used to really like the old orcs, goblins, skaven etc but not this rubbish, and £55!! crazy stuff.

Hahaha forget the muppets Pigs In Space this is the GW sequel Rats in space. Yes I know they are for WHFB but I bet they'll turn up in 40K armies somewhere.
Like I said earlier GW have lost the plot.
