Konrad Cruze, Solar Auxilia and other new stuff

Postby leadweight » Fri Dec 05, 2014 10:43 am

Forge world have added to their character series with Konrad Cruze Primarch of the night lords

Image

Only £57 and bigger than a dreadnought

Also new solar auxilia veterns, £40

Plus the new Imperial Fist Contemptor Dreadnought, £34 with no arms.

I will probably end up getting the veterns at some point, once I have finished my lasrifle section.

Foot on... broken cathedral? :o

I like the dreadnought design but I can't really get excited about the rest...

Some of the character series have detractable bases so that they can be used in games, but this just seems over the top.

Yes, all those bases detract from the figures.

(except the figures are shite anyway)

I actually like the Solar Auxilia - but £40 for 10 figures still seems steep to me.

I bought some of the drop troops and Cadian upgrades when they first came out and casting quality was very good then. Anyone know if the casting quality is still good or has it deteriorated of late?

The casting quality has been fine on the infantry that I've bought recently, the quality on the storm eagle has been a bit iffy however.

What a horrible waste of time and materials.
THIS IS A FIERCE BAD RABBIT;
look at his savage whiskers,
and his claws and his turned-
up tail.

isn't Night Lords a bit gayish?

"C'mon men! let's storm the galaxy, wreck chaos on our path, how should we call ourselves?"
"Should be something fearful, the other guys are calling themselves the World Eaters and the Death Guard!"
"Even the good guys are pretty rugged, like the Death and the Blood Angels"
"How'bout the Night Lords, luv?"
Cheers,
Pedro
