Is it just me, or do they have extremely long necks?

The necks do seem a tad long... Maybe it helps them look over the wall :)

I don't really see a problem with the necks, they look in proportion when assembled, and it looks like the bottom of them is actually sort of a 'tab' to fit into a hole on the body?

What does put me off is the pose, it sort of looks like they're dancing, or posing for posing's sake :/

The poses just suck, and the weapon choices are even worse. If you have a long sword on your belt, why run around waving a scimitar or one handed axe? Great place to have a spear over the shoulder or lantern out. Things that scream night watch. I don't know why the guy with the falcon is even in the set. He sends the frigging bird for help if they are attacked or something?? Should have given the guy an attack dog to sick on drunks and orphans. The only good thing about the images is they spare you from seeing the archer and crossbowman who just look twice as idiotic on the site.

The arms are a bit stiff.
And, yeah, the weapon choice could better, but a weapon swap would be easy enough.
The look OK, but not much better than that.
They could potentially serve as characters in a feudal setting. I could be tempted, depending on the price.

I think they are standing on a rock too, or does it only count if one foot is higher than the other?

I think you are confusing men of The Nights' Watch from GoT with generic night watchmen.

I'm sure he is but they're still incredibly stilted poses and seem totally unsuited to represent the Night's Watch. Why not have a few dynamic single pose sculpts rather than these very poor offerings?
