15mm space dwarves

Postby Khurasanminiatures » Mon Nov 10, 2014 7:10 pm

We've just released our "hard sci-fi" take on 15mm space dwarves, which we call Thrainites.

Thrainite sets:

Image
Thrainite Lething troopers (two clutches, each with a veteran and three troopers, eight models in five poses)

Image
Thrainite heavy weapons (six models in three poses)

Image
Thrainite Lething command (a Steward petty noble and a heavy slugthrower)

Image
Thrainite Young Noble Assault Team in Assisted Armour (basically carapace armour with power assist, not quite power armour but almost)

Image
Thrainite Force Commander in Command Power Battlesuit

Image
Thrainite Mako Weapons Set (twin autocannon with gunner and heavy mortar with crewman, shown here with Mako tractor and cruciform base which are available separately)

We've also released a set of two vehicle crew upper halves for the Thrainites but we forgot to get those painted! Pictures will follow.

Sculpted by Ben Siens, models painted by Artmaster, Chris Yaro, and Andy Taylor (he did his magic on the power armour and commander -- the faces seen inside the power armour visors are very impressive).

They're fab.

I especially like the sexy pose the dwarf is in, as he lays on the tank ;)

Lovely
