I've always been on the fence about these guys as the models are always deliberately GW esque (or even blatant GW copy) but they have at least upped the bar on a lot of the quality of scupt and look. These are just a bit meh

The Tower of Torment?

Isn't that what Steders optimistically calls his 'little Steders'?

Meh indeed.
Not as nice as some of their other stuff.
Felix Paniagua(?) is an ex-GW sculptor so his style is like that I guess, and others sculpt to fit in.

:P

To be fair my wording wasn't great, sorry. I meant that the others, like Tim Prow, try to follow the aesthetic.

Richard Sweet's/Build's Lizardmen are a nice alternative though, very spiny and dinosaur like.

Hard to tell from that one picture, I'd need to see a 360 view.

BTW, what is it with all these miniature websites only having teeny tiny little photographs of their miniatures? A 300x300 does not cut it.

Agreed, although their style is more than just a hangover from their head sculptor's previous job ;)
