Erny, that's a fuckload of old sea elves. I see now why I had such a hard time finding a few more... you sponge, you!

Wowsers! ... that really is a lot of Marauder Sea Elves.
Don't think I have seen so many in one place before.

I have some of those. Some in my trade pile I think.
Might even have some that you don't have? I'll check.

Thanks everyone for the shield input.
Still not sure what I will do.... watch this space.

Meanwhile ....

I have been painting some Wights.

Now these guys are not quite done .... I am thinking the gold needs to be a bit less orange. I gave it a wash with chesnut ink as I always do but it is not worked on these minis. It has ended up to warm in my opinion ... So I think I need to take it down again to a much 'cooler' gold. What do you think?

Also can't decide on what colour to do the eyes???

Remember this guy?

Image

He was one of the first wights Citadel made but he was not the last .....

Next came these guys ....

These Marauder miniatures:

Still got to settle on shields for these guys???

These are 5th edition Gary Morley classics:

This guy has had his sythe removed so I can turn him into an army standard bearer ....
I am thinking I should have based him on a rock to make him more imposing?

Image

This guy still needs his banner sorting out too ...
I imagine him a standard for a unit rather than an army standard:

and the musician :

Image

The champion is a conversion ... a skeletal rider body stuck on the same legs as the standard:

Image

Then there is this guy ... less of the flowing ghostly robes and more hard as nails. :D

One more classic Morley:

Not finished yet but I have painted another one of these.
The last one was painted to match my skellies but this one is painted in the wight theme.

Very cool, the flowing robe theme is very striking. The Morley sculpts fit in nicely as well!

Very nice, I like this cold blue, it looks great next to the bone colour.
