Nice work, Harry!
Excellent brushwork.

I've got that Marauder Necromancer as well, but mine seems to be missing most of his left heel/leg and has a very small toe. Is that normal or did I get a wonky one?

The Marauder necromancer is a behemoth! I left mine in a geocache, couldn't be arsed with it. Also, he wasn't really pointing...

Cool additions Harry, very nice!

Seriously chaps, thank you all so much for all your kind words.
Considering the standard of some of the painting around here it means a lot.

I am glad you are enjoying my efforts.

I shall make an effort to do more big hair in the future.

Here is one more old undead model I did this week:

@Graccuss ...sounds like a wonky one. (Not sure I don't have one in my bits box with a similar miscast foot?)

Here's my take on him:

Image
I love him, he is big granted but he is my first choice model for any undead game.
I've recently, finally got round to doing a simple conversion on another one of these necromancers. Strictly speacking the conversion I wanted to do is on the marauder Vampire, giving him this necromancers sword but it did leave me with a pointy finger hand to give the Necromancer. I may well have pictures of that soon...

Oh I'm loveing all the undead Harry, particularly as I'm on an undead kick myself.

Nice work Rochie,
though a bit cartoony looking for my tastes.

@Harry: aren't you forgetting something? Shouldn't there be a pile of skulls to go with the Screaming Skull Catapult? Well painted, by the way. Is that a 40 mm base for the catapult itself?

Also, I suspected that it might be a miscast, but it seems ok except for the leg. I think I might just add a back piece of leg from a plastic Empire model and greenstuff the toe out a bit.

That's being kind as most of them have the same bloody face. Classic/Typical Aly Morrison.

I presumed it more the case as them being Talisman minis, they were sculpted to resemble the Gary Chalk artwork on the cards for each figure.

Certainly, in the case of the monk, they seem to have achieved something close to that.
