I used to take Duncan Macfarlane to all the shows in the early 80s, he had just started Mini Wargames and just finished being the manager of a certain Citadel.

He used to "pay" me in castings, a few things that he had had in his garage for years. Bet there is still loads there. :(

I have a bunch of these too, from when they were part of the Heartbreaker line. IMO, some of the very best figures Kev has ever done. The goblins with the lank, stringy hair are great.

I remember you did'nt like it Kev. I think part of the attraction of Tony's dragon is it's nostalgic value.

In 1980 (bloody hell I was 12 yr old then), I saw pictures of it, I did'nt have to monetary means to buy one.
So a few years later, one finds oneself working for GW, with the option of buying in kilo's rather than figures, one finds oneself taking one home.

Can't use the bugger for anything tho so it sit's on top of my bookcase.

The paint job supposed to be blue-black, it's more like dust grey at the moment.

The great spiney was done by Nick Bibby was'nt it?
