Statuesque Preview: Lillie Poots, aged 7 and a quarter

Postby Pablo Spandangle » Thu Dec 05, 2013 8:12 pm

Here are some photos of a figure that I hope to have on sale in the new year. This is the 3D print and she will be going away for moulding tomorrow, along with some other Statuesque figures and the Pulp Alley duo.

Lillie Poots is the heroine of my forthcoming pulp horror range Statuesque Asylum...

She's very small - around 21mm tall. I'm really pleased with how she turned out. I originally started her in Fimo almost two years ago, though I'm glad I redid her digitally as she's turned out much better. She's my favourite figure I've sculpted and I think one of my best! :D

Pick me, pick me...

Lovely work Andrew. The sort of figure that immediately starts making you think of lots if different ways to paint her.

Duff's keen! ;)

Which is just as well, as I reckoned he'd do a fine job of the shop pj when the time comes.

@Gomez: Hopefully she'll be on sale in January.

My memory might be playing tricks but I think I preferred the old one, really wanted one! Still, this is very nice nonetheless. :)

Here's the original WIP along with the new. They have a different character - fimo Lillie looks scared while digi Lillie is more curious/suspicious - but I definitely prefer the new version. Part of the reason I ditched the original was that I couldn't get the expression I wanted. She's much closer to how I originally pictured her in my head. :)
