I'm waiting for them to bring out the giant smaug miniature and break the £100 mark.
Or they'll just do smaug as a big head coming out of a cave or something....

Also they couldn't have made those barrels a little deeper? they're either going to need deepening or they'll look shite painted to look "dark"

Nowt wrong with the pjs, just not up to the standard we've come to expect from the Eavy Metal team (like those witch elves from a while back ).

Wood Elf archers look great, properly "light on their feet", like elves should be. Rest are decidedly meh through to urgh though.

Please someone give the license to Knight Models or anyone else. Quality is shit and the prices are a piss take. Get some competition going.

Come on... I really think the wood elves are great! They have grace and style. The paint job ranges from lack-lustre to amateurish, though.

Periodically someone at GW gets the idea that professional paintjobs scare off the punters. I assume we're going through another one of those phases.

The wood elves seem okay-ish, but they look pretty much just like the Warhammer wood elves.

Don't know what is up with the sculpts. The White Dwarf has the Perry Twins listed as making all the figs. All I can think is since the Hobbit sold horribly for GW, they told the twins to do it quick, dirty and nothing to be proud of.
