This Is Not a Test Razor Rattler WIP

Postby Deathwing » Tue Nov 05, 2013 4:38 pm

Sculpted by fellow Frother Peder Bartholdy, the razor rattler is a part of a small miniature range I am bringing to market for my upcoming ruleset. Love the work so far. Any feedback would be appreciated. :) Look for more wasteland beasties and mutants in the future.

Looks great and has a bunch of generic uses, so definitely a good opening shot into the minis market. I thought you guys were going to be rules only, but this is good news!

You're going to need a lot of CroFab if you get bitten by that thing!
I'd recognise that sound anywhere! That's the sound of a hundred heads deflating.

Nope, looks nothing like me.

If I was going to be really hypercritical (and why break the habit of a lifetime?) I'd say the bend in the tail looks a wee bit sharp, particularly with the general width of the thing. Any way it could be looped out a little more, maybe tucked under the neck/foreportion?

Overall though, I think it looks quite good. :D Between this and the snake-lady-thing, are we seeing the beginnings of a new era where people actually look at a pic before sculpting a thing?

Hi all,

I'm the sculptor behind the snake, and the green guy as well. I'm glad you like it :)

Vermis, I have indeed looked at a lot of photos prior to beginning the sculpt. I'm all for anatomical correctness. As much as can be had at least, when working on that scale.

I'm looking forward to sharing more TNT stuff with you all in the future :)

Like the snake, but needs some fangs?

Snake is brilliant - although agreed about the fangs.

It's a WIP. It'll get fangs ;)
