Right, I'm back from wikipedia (god bless it).

Apparently, the queen from Aliens was 4'5 meters high. The one from AvP was taller 6m.

Given that the scale of the minis will be, aprox, 1:55, that would be... 82 or 109mm high.
Go figure, it is not over-the-top big. Unless you take into account the boardgame's fluff, according to which the queen should be very young.
And my horroclix ones are actually rather small... they'd be only 3'57 meters high (princesses?).

Why wouldn't it be larger than the LE one, everything else is too? And what do you mean IF they will make a power loader - that goal was reached easily. Did someone widdle in your cereals or something?

Wow, I didn't think they'd make 290k, but they did with time to spare... it will be tighter with 2000 pledgers though.

Wow, this KS is skyrocketing in its latest hours.

Cancelled my pledge in the end, I was after marine stuff and £75 was too much to get the stuff I wanted, and too much effort to sell everything I didn't want to make up the cost. A choice of 1 squad and 1 character didn't do it for me. I'll still chuck a few quid at a club member for a pack of marines though.

Good to see how much it's made in the last couple of days though.

Since this thread hasn't been updated in a while i figured i would post these images here.

Overall I'm loving the amount of detail on the Alien models, although i'm not too familiar with the material that Prodos is using so its entirely possible that these may be pre-production casts.

Painted one of the preds up recently... v. nice but fucking huge and, imo, useless with anything other than the Prodos range

how huge? horroclix predators are quite large aswell..
