There's some decent looking stuff in there but I'd really like to see better lit pictures

This better? The painter posts his pics after Mantic officially post their own.

These are painted resin masters and not production casts, that said my experiences with Mantic's PVC plastic haven't been bad, especially the more recent ones. I backed the KS and I like what I see here - I wasn't impressed with the first batch of sculpts that Mantic showed off for these but they have taken feedback on board and amended some of them. I'm still not a fan of the cyber mawbeasts though.

Best stuff I have seen from Mantic to date. They look to have finally sorted the quality of their sculpts and will hopefully achieve the potential they have always had. What scale are these? Love the orcs baring those stupid dog thingies.

I hear the warning bells ringing.

Remember, the sedition wars masters also looked fine and dandy, afther hours of scraping fucking mold lines of the cheap plastic shit that the punters actually recieved , well, mine don`t look much like the resin masters in terms of quality.

Here`s hoping Mantic do better, but the stuff of theirs I`ve had had the same awful clean up problems.

As a KS backer for this and the turd that had become sedition wars the quality of the plastic was of major concern to me so i contacted them direct:

The response: thanks for getting in touch! The main type of plastic we use is the same material that Privateer Press use for their plastics (known online as Plastic Resin). It is from the same manufacturer as those who did Sedition Wars, but we're working hard with our manufacturer to ensure the quality of the figures is sharp. Hope this helps. Chris.

Still like to see the actual product.

If you can, just get hold of one of the miniatures they already produce in this material and see what you think.

Mouldines are a bit tougher to clean up but are best done with scalpel scraping rather than a file.

I don't think the problem is with the material, but with the quality control.
