Certainly vibes of the old Blood Axes in there which means I may well get that commander for the Blood Axe Ork Kommando force I am converting up slowly when I can be bothered and not building landing pads etc. 8)

Loving... prototypes.
Let's keep our fingers crossed that real production minis keep as much quality as possible.

And just yesternight I was reading about Jake McNiece and his pals the "filthy thirteen". Nice homage there, one I expect to get eventually.

As before: would be nice orks (or orx, or whatever ridiculousness it is this week) if not for those fanged-toilet-bowl faces. Don't care what you all think about Brian Nelson, if I got these I'd make a simultaneous order to bitzbox or somewhere for placcy GW heads. Or Puppet's War etc.

Everything else is serviceable to good.

The Mercenary models and the Plague, Rebel and Marauder factions are all going to be done in PVC plastic, while the Enforcers, Enforcers in Peacekeeper Armour, Forge fathers, Plague zombies and Asterians models are going to be released in proper hard plastic. Some of the models in those factions might be released in PVC though, as Mantic hasn't really announced how many models will be on each plastic sprue.
