Not sure I love it but it's certainly insane enough to be interesting. I'd hate to paint it though, but then how many people who buy it will?!

Since it's got Japanese style armor, paint it red - it'll also go faster - and slather on some satin varnish. The face could be painted as part of the mempo and all that's left is to drybrush the fur: lion, leopard, tiger, etc.. Will probably replace the spear with brass rod, but not sure what to do with the strapped on corpses with the fragile resin blades.

At ~$20.00, with $6.00 flat shipping from China, I might get two: one as a Chaos Ogre, with bony parts, like the tale covered in putty and the other as the default undead critter.

my kind of thinking too - I've already got 2 on order and come payday this weekend will be ordering a 3rd! With currency
rates this figure is working out at £17.60 with tracked shipping to the UK, it's a stunning piece but at that price it's bonkers
stunning!!

I've always been a fan of the red samurai armour look, not too worried about the blades and stuff personally as mine will be getting painted for display rather than any form of gaming, it's the first non-GW figure I've bought in years and looking forwards to what goes on with the infantry and other future releases - can envisage a totally bonkers undead Kagemusha display piece!!!

Also been scouting ahead for scenery to build a nice diorama for this and future releases in the
range and found these MDF buildings in 28mm - putting the link here for anyone else that's interested

These do look quite nice: http://www.oshiromodelterrain.co.uk/catalogue28.html

Then there's these precut foamed PVC buildings, not so much detail, but fairly cheap: http://www.plastcraftgames.com/en/59-fu ... for-kensei

Nice 8) the first link stuff is a tad pricier but looks the absolute biz! Kensi stuff looks interesting too - especially the Japanese soldiers to fight off against the undead horde!!

Hadn't realised they're also selling some of the minis. They're by Zenit Miniatures. Some better pics of the creatures in their indigogo gallery: http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/kense ... ?c=gallery

If you need some more Japanese(ish) fantasy creatures to pester your undead, the Tengu Kappa look like they'd be up to that kind of mischief as well: http://www.tengumodels.co.uk/userimages ... 751%29.htm

Speaking of fantasy creatures from Nippon, GCT/ Bushido probably deserves a mention as well (despite quite a few of the minis seemingly dating back to the Meh dynasty): http://www.bushido-thegame.com/store
