It's not really that complex. Iain sold some of his stuff to me and other stuff to other chaps. I bought the Kappa, then had a bunch more made. They now have more poses, as well as command/characters.

I want to market them in a kickstarter if I could only figure out how the bl**dy things work....

Seems simple,

Create a naff video promising the earth
Add a few pencil sketches
Mix up the rewards so much no one knows what they are buying
(Throw in a potato salad as an option - that really works)
Change the plans part way through by updates (develop a new metal to cast in China with)
Sit back till the cash comes in
Change manufacturing plans to Outer Mongolia to baffle everyone
Get at least two other delay reasons prepared (more so than the original offering)
I recommend at least one of these being 'development' problems with the new material - who knows what that means but sounds great
Go sick
Claim to hire a team to help pack
Blame them for running off with the money
Do a runner with the money - not forgetting to pay the team

Judging from other people on here who've managed successful kickstarter campaigns I'm sure you'll manage, plus this would be a perfect time for me, all the Christmas shopping is done, and as I most likely won't be getting anything hobby related for Christmas, and I have a nice Christmas bonus that needs spending I'm looking around for stuff to buy

I want Kappa. Do it. It'll probably be the best way for me to get them as I seem to always try to look at your shop when it's shut!

I can't imagine a khurasan kickstarter would fail to get support or deliver... although it might be closed for maintenance more often than you might expect.

The instructions on kickstarter are pretty clear... There are some good guides out there and I'm sure people would share their experiences.

Basically work out what it will really cost you and don't fuck that bit up.
