Athena Wars of the Roses Kickstarter

John Caboche (never heard of him) is launching this range of miniatures in a kickstarter in November:

Nice looking generally.
Slimmer, particularly in the legs, than most other 28mm ranges, which is not a problem for me but I wonder how people will look at more anatomically accurate figures (and will people worry about ankle breakage etc).

They appear to be noticeably taller than Perry figures (couple of comparison shots on TWW) except for the horses which appear smaller all over.

Might be tempted - but its a fucking Kickstarter. If he's got all the masters and master moulds done what's he financing - the metal presumably (production moulds?).

Looking at April delivery - will I still be alive?

I hate kickstarters. Finance your own fucking product, and if it's any good people will buy it.

And no bugger looks skinny in white armour Bronny.
Carry on Tango, you're doing a fine job of fucking up TNP. Bravo!

Yes, that is pretty much my opinion of kickstarters. Never 'backed' one yet, probably never will.

And 'slim' not skinny.
