Reread the Karla trilogy while on holiday. I last read them in 1982/83 and they have aged very well indeed. Brilliant spy fiction.
When I die I want the Arsenal players to lower me into my grave so they can let me down one last time.

Need to re-read them - have the Beeb version (and the new film) on DVD and they're regular watches but haven't read the books in donks

Love a bit of Le Carre. I always feel like his prose floats over me like a nice warm blanket. :oops:

I was rereading The Honourable Schoolboy recently and was trying to decide who I'd get to play Jerry Westerby if they did a film of that (which, sadly, it looks like they're not). All I could come up with was Tim Robbins. Assuming he could do the posh accent.
