Wool by Hugh Howey

A very good post-apocalyptic series. I've read the first 5 novellas and just started on the next 3 (The Shift series). Some very good ideas, but you do have to enter into "suspend disbelief" mode a few times.

I've read the first novellas - very good characterisation and good plotting...

A bit of threadomancy on this one as I just noticed that the last entry in the series (called Dust) is now available. That's my weekend reading sorted.

Funny this should come up right now, I'd seen some references to the series that sounded interesting, so I just downloaded Wool #1 to my Kindle yesterday.

I suppose they were giving it away for free to drum up interest in the new installment.
