I remember seeing the cyberman for the first time, What stuck out was how ninja/agile they were( no it didn't ). The screens are great but the cyberman figures fail.
The design of these Cybermen was based on research of the existing designs, conversations here on Frothers and the simple fact that in the Series' history the Cybermen have been redesigned almost everytime they have reappeared.
This project started with influences from Lee Sullivans Cybermen art, mainly this picture

but he had also done a series for the Radio Times looking somewhat like these you can see on
his web pageFurther to this, once I posted my first work in progress cybermen conversions (no pun intended)

others on Frothers suggested other designs like

It was further pointed out that Akula's new Assault Trooper miniatures looked similar to the picture, and in a wonderful act of generosity provided me with a set to
convert.
This is what I made of them

They turned out better than I expected, but the main force of my Cyberman army will be based on my first conversion design.
I hope this quick run through of the project history, design influences and education over Cybermen in the series will go some way to answering the issues raised in your feedback.
