Frothers Painting Competition #10! (Feb-Apr'14)
No theme this time around, so enter whatever you're working on come 30 April.
RULES:
1. There will be two categories: Single Figure, and Open.
1a. Single figure is pretty self explanatory. 1 Figure, foot or mounted. (mounted on a vaguely horse sized creature. Camel, unicycle, motorcycle, ostrich. Basically something that would be considered a 'standard' sized cavalry figure in gaming terms.
1b. 'Open' actually means: Unit of figures, Vehicle/Chariot, Vignette (Artillery piece, baggage unit, etc), terrain piece/objective, etc.
2. You can enter each category once.
3. Scale/Size: Anything up to and including 42mm*, even though 42mm isn't a scale. So a 28mm giant, that is 100mm tall is legal. Stop laughing.
4. Figures should be finished within the time period of the contest. If you've already started it before this announcement, thats okay. The point is to try and keep this to current work. So anything finished between roughly Feb1 and Apr30 is good.
5. Declare any transfers, decals, or printed (non freehand) banners/shields etc.
6. Deadline: 23:59 , 30-Apr, 2014 Frothers Mean Time.
How to enter?
Post a picture of your entry in this thread!
NOW GET TO WORK!
(sticky please, and de-sticky #9, and FvF #5? thanks!)
*The observant will notice a 2mm increase in the maximum scale for the competition. This is to keep pace with global inflation rates and scale creep
