Not as slow as I am. I still haven't finished the skellington
It only needs a bit of highlighting adding to it, but I just can't be arsed.
Lol I get like that.
Re-built a life size Ghostbusters ghost trap prop before finishing these off. Get distracted so easily but enjoy painting more this way than the previous bang em out that I was doing.
I have that Ogre cleaned, filled and under coated ready as well.

I bought bloody Battle Masters soldiers. Battle Masters ffs!
Though I'm actually looking forward to having a fiddle with them. Having put together a few multi-part, placcy goblins I'm in the mood for shitty, one-part plastics!

I do still like some of the Battlemasters stuff, fits in well with the single piece HQ placcys, and have found myself staring at quite a few just lately.
Hermit kindly let me have his BM's Ogre which is awesome for the Ogre Horde expansion set boss.

Yeah, to be fair, the Battle Masters soldiers are pretty much exactly what I'm after. I want bored looking city guardsmen and with some head swaps I think they'll be great. The ideal would be the Heroquest henchmen but they're more pricey. I've got loads of heads from the current GW Empire range and build I'll some character figures from those for a bit more variety.
The BM ogre is a great figure. Would love to see a modern range in that style.

The Battle Masters Ogre was the second mini I ever painted way back. (My Mom at that time insisted I'd paint placcy minis first, before I'd ruin the precious metal minis...)
What I'd like to see would be carefully updated versions of the Heroquest Ogres, especially the lord & chieftain.

To be honest although I love the old school minis with the game I'd like to see someone do an updated range.
Same characters and monsters but just up to todays detailed standards.

Yup. Though everyone
except the wizard. He's just too Motley Crue.
