Excellent jorb to introduce yourself with! Now get to the shed so steders can introduce your face to some wood.

I'll be waiting for my invitation.

I appreciate the other comments as well.

How do you find the optivisor?

I've started using one of those table magnifiers, but it's a wrestling match getting myself, it, and the mini in position. Doesn't help with colour choice either

Apologies all for failing to breach the turquoise bylaw. And I'm on community service for the hair - which for the record will be getting redone.

I'm a little bit concerned by how quickly I became reliant on it but that aside I'm happy. Eyestrain isn't the issue it was and fine detail work is definitely easier. It's also surprisingly comfortable, getting the focal length right is pretty vital though.

That said, I painted this a couple of weeks before buying it and I'm thinking it's possibly better. I'll see how I go over the next few miniatures.

Good fair skintone on yours and the jeans look great - very realistic.

I love my optivisor, I don't even clean up and base without it now.

Nice work Arjay.

Never used an optivisor. I can't even get used to sunglasses.

Very impressive painting Arjay.

I love my optivisor, I can't even clean up and base without it now. Took to it easily as well, unlike the free-standing magnifer I tried first.

Educate me. Why is an optivisor better than reading glasses?

I use this type:

You can get them for £15 on ebay.

It's nothing like wearing glasses, you only need to look through the lenses when you are focusing on the work.
