A well lit pic would have involved getting off my lazy ass to open the blinds and turning on more than just a desk side lamp. When I take real pics you can bet they'll be overexposed and crap in the complete opposite direction of being brightened so much the miniatures look yellow. I really need to rebuild a light box but it's a lot of work to showcase mediocre at best painting.

Vallejo model air chrome - you can paint it on or use it straight from the bottle into an airbrush which is what I did.

Tell that to Dwartist :D

I did say they were simple solid color and black wash jobs. I think I'm definately building a gaming board for these now though. Say a 2x2 board built quite high, four squads in different colors.. yeah.

Anyway, while I plan that, I'm painting up more ebay food in the form of the new malifaux plastics. First time painting over a black undercoat in a long long time. Not sure I like it.

I've signed up to do four participation games at our local convention. I'm using Osprey's Ronin ruleset to do a simulation of Kurosawa's movie Ran. Specifically the battle at the Third Castle. All the figures are from my Kingsford Miniatures range. The third force will feature my new Ronin sculpts and the rest of the new samurai sculpts. The second pic has one of the new samurai pieces that will be in production shortly.

I have a thread at LAF http://www.lead-adventure.de/index.php?topic=62393.0 . So, I need to complete painting 30 models, build a gaming table, counters and maybe some scenario specific objectives. It's nice to get back to 28mm after doing so much 20mm WW2 stuff for the past two years.

It's getting awfully shaggy in here.

@Gomez Looks great, reminds me of shadow run somewhat.

@Sturmpioneer Kingsford Samurai are great its just a shame that they are a bit more expensive than other manufactures, especially when I factor in UK postage.
