My son's first painted unit

Postby LordAshram » Fri Jul 14, 2017 1:59 pm

Hey all!

Well my five and a half year old son and I painted up his first wargames unit!

Image

We went simple... Basecoat and dip... and I did most of the flocking... but otherwise, not bad for a little guy, right?! Looking at them now, I've got to brush a little flock off... you never notice that stuff until you take photos!

More at the blog, so please come take a look.

Thanks!

Amazing. I'm sure I couldn't have painted that well at that age.

I'd try and get him interested in fly fishing or Football - something to divert his attention from making you look bad. :D

Cracking job! He's off to a great start - that'd fit in perfectly at our local club.

After I've sent mine.

That's very good for a first effort at any age. Can't wait to see what he does at six.
My fingernails are filthy, I've got beach tar on my feet
