The Captain's around, but he already said (see previous page) he doesn't feel like fucking with it.

Can't say I blame him, but it's getting out of hand.

Yes I can understand that - but someone had been clearing it up - and I can see why it must feel like a thankless task and why they might have given up - but it is a pain in the bum at the moment - anyone want to hack in and clear it up? :)

I think he was the one doing it, until recently. He can correct me if I'm wrong. If he wants to bother.

Oops, guess I should have said "page 31" instead of "previous" -- didn’t realize we were at the bottom of the page.

Say, that reminds me of a joke from The Pearl. . .

I don't think it's ever been this bad for this long.

No disagreement here.

I blame Bill. Or JJ.

I'd say look to the Bristol Parks department, but the Play Inspector's exams are very rigorous - nearly as rigorous as the Judging exams Dud, and may not leave a lot of time for hand crafted spamming.

A (former?) Frother, I take it? Before my time, so could be.

But I'd point out that, if this thread's start date is an indication, the spamstorm began about a month after Bill started coming over here and arguing on what's now the Sad Cunts thread, and having his arse handed to him -- repeatedly. What's amazing, as I wasted time paging through the thread, is how long he kept posting his bullshit here. Or maybe, not so amazing.

Anyway, coincidence?

Edit: The real pisser there was Bill's constantly accusing Frothers of being transphobic, considering the misogyny and racism visible on TMP daily.

I saw no evidence of transphobia on the thread, aside from the usual piss taking, which was a lot rougher back then, from what I can tell.

Hmm. Maybe I should run an experiment on myself, in that regard. More time wasted -- but it might be more fun! :D

I think it may well be time to disable anonymous posting. These spambots have taken up over 14 pages in the frothpot at the moment.

I don't think we need anonymous posting anymore, do we? No point having it just so Monty Bill can vent here from time to time. We already know he's a cunt.

That might help, though some of them were registering recently. They would probably start doing that again.

But it would almost certainly slow them down.

For all their effort, the Sad Cunts thread still keeps floating to the top, which must be be upsetting for them 0;)
