One result of giving free rein to the spammers in the Dr. Who thread seems to be making entire TV Zone a no-go zone for everyone.

Or, it could just be a total lack of interest in my subject.

I think it's just the Dr Who thread itself.

If you look at it another way, it's become something of a fly-catcher for spam, due to it having some the key words that spambots are loaded with.

Others could be created in the same way. All that needs to be done is to remove the link function for the thread and let them fly in.

Shame they can't be automatically zapped when they do.

I just mean that most people here, seeing the TV Zone lit up, will assume it's the spambots at work, and ignore it. Which means they won't notice any -- ahem -- new threads.
