No, it was by the base just before the base jump. There are concrete walls on the lhs and I dropped it there, Didn't realise it made you parachute though

It doesn't make you parachute in on all of the levels.

I don't know why though. it's useful for setting up in garages with barely open doors so you can be all sneaky.

Bergil got lucky last night when setting an m-com (he'd just got out of a tank that was acting as diversion waiting outside of the big gas containers/silos). I had him bang to rights, knife out and ready for the slice, but when I clicked to stab nothing happened. Luckily he didn't realise I was behind him and ran off instead of killing me.

I often try and stab people with grenades... S'what happens with 5 and 6 being together.

I'm having trouble with taking tags at the moment

I had him bang to rights, knife out and ready for the slice, but when I clicked to stab nothing happened. Luckily he didn't realise I was behind him and ran off instead of killing me.

tried stabing a guy who was lying down last night, all it did was give him a polite tap on the head to say I was there. Only managed one set of tags so far, much as I like the new animation for getting the tags, attempting to knife only seems to work if you are behind them - apparently people have an anti-knife shield around the rest of them

You have to stab them twice from the front and sides and you won't get a tag.

Stab them from the back, and the tags are yours.

It definitely is a different action - mcfonz said something the other night about it intentionally being harder to attack from the front. Frustrating sometimes to stab prone people, easier to just shoot.

I tried stabbing too last night Kev and all I did was slash at the twat I was trying to kill. He turned round after I slashed him so I had to give him a blast in the face with a machine gun.
Middle mouse button is not the default melee button now, it's the "F" key

true. I've already given up on KDR - only reason I wanted to know about the knife thing is I had the guy dead to rights but shooting would have given me away to his nearby mates a bit too quickly. More fun attempting the actual mission too

I think I will post my PC spec when at home tonight and see if the learned think its worthwhile looking for a graphic card upgrade or not as pc is around 4 years old now

on the plus side I seem to get positive KD ratios for BFBC2 now most ahve moved on

Noticed on lads XBox there are a lot fo level 30+ characters and even saw a level 50 I mean is it quicker to level up now or is it just extreme sad fucker symdrome?
