You can diffuse the mcom with the eod bot I believe. Haven't seen anyone with smoke yet, amazing the difference suppressing fire has though

if the rest of your team are a bunch of numpties, its always worth making use of the radio beacon, to set up a spawn point closer to the m-coms.

Saves you walking

Not sure what keys you use on the PC, as am obviously on the xbox, but sometimes the radio beacon won't set - trying raising it up a bit - if the ground isn't level, you might be trying to plant it in the ground.

left click, but you have to make sure there is enough room as it's a hefty piece of kit. I used it yesterday on the base jump map as they had us pinned down on the routes in. That's why we could parachute right into the compound

cheers guys - that makes sense now. I'm still under the impression they've let more than a few bugs / slips up get in. One of the guys we see online with us often (Therion) was playing on one of the desert maps the other day, and the game is set in bright sunshine - yet an opponents torch managed to blind him - what kind of fucking bulbs are in those torches? Game feels unfinished and that it has been released too early. That and no fucking manual unless you go download it! :loopy: :cuss:

can you tell how impressed I am so far with this game?

That's the thing you left on the roof? I wondered what it was and tried to blow it up.

I am :D

I've encountered no problems so far, I'm just having trouble with the learning curve. Although that's helped by the fact I'm not allowed booze at the moment.

Spooky, my KD/R improved the other night after a couple of bottles of wine.... at least I think it did.

Apparently I was also running around taking lots of tags, so must have been doing something right.

Yeah, it's like that on all maps, a right pain in the arse when someone does that to you, esp if they are on your team! useful for stuff like in the warehouse though

No, it was by the base just before the base jump. There are concrete walls on the lhs and I dropped it there, Didn't realise it made you parachute though

I'm having trouble with taking tags at the moment :?

Bergil got lucky last night when setting an m-com (he'd just got out of a tank that was acting as diversion waiting outside of the big gas containers/silos). I had him bang to rights, knife out and ready for the slice, but when I clicked to stab nothing happened. Luckily he didn't realise I was behind him and ran off instead of killing me.
