Hey, Bronie! I am watching a lovely and fascinating documentary on early bronze age, late stone age Britain and it’s really got me interested in visiting your part of the Shire someday.
I was wondering if you or anyone else had some good reading you could recommend about the pre-Celtic period?
Here’s the link to the docco, btw. I found it captivating, which means I am truly becoming an old git, I guess, but given your interest in the Western Marches of the Shire, I thought you might be the guy to ask about where I can dig up more (see what I did there)? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Iq4xM8TLWc0&t=2476s
Now I want to get a touring bike and ride all over Cornwall and the Welsh Marches.
Also watched Dr. Alice Roberts flounce about a dig in the Fens. Is she now the BBC’s go to pretty scientific face for things ancient?
