“How can you believe in free speech, but think the government can compel people to use certain pronouns when talking to others?” Greg Burt of the California Family Council testified in July. “This is not tolerance. This is not love. This is not mutual respect. True tolerance tolerates people with different views. We need to treat each other with respect, but respect is a two-way street. It is not respectful to threaten people with punishment for having sincerely held beliefs that differ from your own.”

That link goes to regulations around aged care!?!!??!?!?!!!???!!!

Are you trying to find a retirement home that accepts Nazi's with dogs? And then getting a little bit confused because of distemper?

Do you have purulent nasal discharge and hyperkeratotic nose?

Mikey? Is that you?

It's worth noting that outside the criminal fringe, Arpaio isn't that popular and he lost his re-election.

With mid-terms coming along, there's nothing to gain by sticking up for him, especially in a case as absurd as this one.

It IS sort of interesting how quickly the "We'ze aboutz the law and order!" crowd decided they were cool with destroying criminal evidence.
Surely, it's unrelated to the fact that he was brutalizing hispanics.

He'll come out with stuff purposefully to provoke you. Be strong and just ignore him.
That's the only way you'll get to him. He thrives on attention, so don't give him any. It winds him up something rotten.
No matter what he says (he's just doing it to make you say something), just ignore him.
It really aggravates him. He gets more desperate and starts getting abusive. You can tell it's working.
Ignore him.

I know. But it is just so much fun tweaking Grandpa's nose that I can't resist.

That's just it though.
You're not tweaking his nose. He loves it when you engage him in conversation, however antagonistically. He gets enjoyment out of provoking people.
If you do want to get at him then ignore him.
He'll throw a paddy for a bit and try and be ever more provocative, trying to hit all the buttons he knows will prompt people to reply.
That's when you have to be at your strongest, and let him say what he likes.
Because if you don't reply to him that's when you're really hitting him hardest.

Bill the Guest.

Blah, blah, blah...

You sure seem to love posting over and over no over again. You may not be informative or original but you are certainly repetitive.

You are also way off base.

I post for my amusement and am happy to continue doing so even if no one wants to respond. Most of Frothers already has me on ignore, and it seems I'm quite good at triggering your replies.

Stay tuned here for additional posts. :D

Mac,

Posting Brazilian Sewer Sludge in your normal manner is hardly tweaking my nose. If all you have is over the top bullshit that clearly bears no resemblance to my posts, the folks here immediately recognize "Mac is at it again" and put no stock in it.

I've just laughed you off and not taken your bait.

Not nearly as successful or effective as you seem to think you are. :D

Kyote,

I have family in Brenham. Not as bad as Houston but record flooding just the same.
