What the heck are you listening to?
Inquiring minds,and all that. . .

It was a joke. Sheesh.

Not quite the level of ROFLMAO, but a wry chuckle.

Considering the stupid shit said by right-wing talk radio people, Poe's Law really comes into play with your posts.

Back in 2009-10 or so,a friend told me he was twiddling the dial on the way home, when he heard a caller on one of the RW shows claiming that Obama had colluded with the investment bankers, inducing them to fail,in order to bring about the financial collapse that got him elected.

The host's response?
"I wouldn't put it past him".

Now,we wouldn't accuse Winnie of listening to this sort of stuff, would we?

Of course not. That sounds like the kind of show where they use big words.

Well.
As Steve Martin once observed, "Some people know how to use words, and some people, not. . .know how. . .use words. . .".

There's no such thing as the "alt-left".

The "alt-right" is a thing that people call themselves. You can go to their forums, websites and reddit subs. They call themselves "alt-right" to distinguish themselves from the conventional right wing.
They emerged within the last 20'ish years as a mixture of white identify politics, internet rage and hyper-nationalism.

There's no such thing on the left.
Radical leftists call themselves the things they've always called themselves, depending on creed: Anarchists, communists, socialists.
They have held the fundamentally same views for the past 200 years.

The only people using "alt-left" is people trying to justify nazi violence.
