Mosques are being surveilled, but until individuals do something or are caught planning to, it's covered under free speech. You're idea of a society is rather Orwellian or on a less sophisticated level, like the one in Demolition Man.
Speaking of denying groups the right of assembly and speech, how about Nation of Islam rallies or Louis Farrakhan speaking speaking at Berkeley - anti-Asian, anti-homosexual and referring to Jews as the source of evil? How about a millennial black bitch who called me a Zionist and a kike at my then workplace? She mentioned being a recent convert and that ISIS doesn't exist. Lefties ignore this type of behaviour, claiming it's due to mental illness and trivialize it as simply an inconvenience.
