That 'newspaper' is an utter fucking rag.

And your post won't shouldn't distract from JJ showing himself to be a massive alt-right-lovin' tool. But nice try Winsome.

Mosques are being surveilled, but until individuals do something or are caught planning to, it's covered under free speech. You're idea of a society is rather Orwellian or on a less sophisticated level, like the one in Demolition Man.

Speaking of denying groups the right of assembly and speech, how about Nation of Islam rallies or Louis Farrakhan speaking speaking at Berkeley - anti-Asian, anti-homosexual and referring to Jews as the source of evil? How about a millennial black bitch who called me a Zionist and a kike at my then workplace? She mentioned being a recent convert and that ISIS doesn't exist. Lefties ignore this type of behaviour, claiming it's due to mental illness and trivialize it as simply an inconvenience.

As expected, Apathy is incapable of simply saying "I condemn Nazi murderers" without rambling on about protesters.

As I said, interference. The conversation must immediately be changed to distract from the topic that must not be discussed.

How many dead would it have taken to actually face the problem of radical racial violence with eyes open, and not try to deflect?
Do you have any sense of shame left or have you sacrificed everything?

The side under the banner 'Unite the Right' and calling themselves White Supremacists is fairly obviously the fascist side.

As for moral equivalence (I know everyone was very naughty and breaking some jaywalking law) that argument means these guys

were the same as these guys

Oh no! Wait! Those nice smart chaps were marching legally - protected by 6,000 police whereas that suspicious looking rabble at the top were breaking the law!

Now whose side do you support?
Think carefully.

I entirely support free speech and freedom of assembly.

I also support the right of people who don't want to be murdered because of their imagined ethnic differences to be jolly well ticked off and even get a tad feisty in their responses to invitations to gas chambers. Intemperate of me I know.

When if ever did the Nazis call themselves "Fascists"?

Oh my. Condi's inner-redneck is showing.

Despite the fact that she sounds like a very unpleasant woman, you do know her age and ethnicity are totally irrelevant to your little tale of outrage, don't you? Two wrongs don't make a right and all that.

Oh well, off to invisible-land you go. I hope you and angry old JJ are very happy there.

Definition of fascism
1 often capitalized : a political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition

I'm absolutely fine with the government allowing free speech and lawful assembly no matter how vile the speech and these assholes were absolutely free to assemble and say whatever.

I am equally fine with their fellow citizens such as these folks employers learning what their employees do in their spare time and firing their racist ass.

I'm retired now but had I an employee that vile, I would have canned them at the first opportunity.

Then you would've rightly been sued for wrongful dismissal...

Why not go one step further: in addition to denying someone their livelihood, one should lay claim to their property - say it's reparations or claim they're a witch, like in Salem. You're too blinkered to notice that LGBTQ communities have had experience with such citizen informants, who're in most cases pursuing their own personal vendettas - this is how some ended up in Guantanamo. Excluding engaging in criminal acts, unless someone is being disruptive in the workplace and/or contributing to an hostile environment, it's nobody's business what one does in their spare time.

The nazis want to kill blacks and Jews. The white supremacists want to kill blacks and Jews. This isn't an opinion, that is their stated goal. They aren't exercising their free speech, they are stating what they will do if they take over. And they have done so in places where they controlled, like in Jim Crow South, Apartheid South Africa, and Nazi Germany. You are engaging in false equivocation.
