Altius. It isn't a rhetorical question. As several folks have complained and the press had carried, the police were negligent in their duties. That in turn let the violence start and get out of control. I fault the law enforcement and the governor for not making sure they had sufficient forces on hand to deal with the problem. What did they think would happen?

The counter protesters had every right to be there. It is beyond stupid to try to engage a superior number of violent people if they are instigating a fight. Fighting to defend yourself to withdraw would have been prudent as would protecting your fellow demonstrators ESPECIALLY if you've seen inaction by the police. Wading into them with clubs? Not wise on many levels.

No moron, I'm not. You would have a point if I was defending the Nazis or excusing them because of the bad actors on the other side, but I have not done that at all. From the outset I've consistently assigned blame to them for the violence. I've also taken to task the MSM and assholes like you and others here who can't differentiate admitting there were violent thugs like ANTIFA who came looking for trouble, and absolving the terrorists, as I have called them, of responsibility for what they did.
