Well, given the love for fried chicken thereabouts, no surprise the Colonel did so well.

How does it feel to be so not just abandoned but actively stabbed in the back by your party? If there was someone more honest than HRC and less conniving than DWS, you might have had your candidate. But you party knows better than the little people, don't they? That's the entire Progressive mindset - the unwashed masses aren't wise enough to know what they need or what is best for them, so enlightened masterminds in government need to take care of them and remove them from the decision-making process.

You....you are aware that Sanders represented the progressives and Hillary the centrists right?

Like, this is literally the only thing progressives have been talking about for half a year now.

Please tell me that you know this, and the above word salad was just you taking the piss.

He's just making it up as he goes. I believe the term is 'alternative facts'. It's a common strategy among the Trumpistas.

Only relative to each other.

The entire DEM party is Progressive. Sanders was just the most extreme. Hillarycare was a prime example of her belief in the masterminds running the healthcare system.

How truly "Progressive" was that top one-percenter Bernie anyways?

A self-described muckraking site had this take on things back in 2013:
The Progressive Movement is a PR Front for Rich Democrats
https://www.counterpunch.org/2013/03/15/the-progressive-movement-is-a-pr-front-for-rich-democrats/ Whether you choose to believe or disbelieve what they say, they do make some very interesting observations.

1. You never have to read what I post
2. Consider yourself warned.
3. It's "spew"
4. And, like it or not, it is true.

Get over yourself. We may be depending on how things work out, but we aren't even close to that point yet.
The Norker fatboy may not be stupid enough to do more than flap his gums.
If it appears that he will, it is in China's interest to handle it.
If they do, we don't have to.
If we have to, there are a number of different level responses that we can take short of a nuclear exchange.
DJT has some pretty savvy folks on his team who i suspect will have a strong influence on whatever he does or does not do - General Mattis for one.
If DJT was as loony as folks hereabouts give him credit for being, he would have already attacked.

Why don't you report on some poll numbers?

It will take 10 to 20 years to undo the damage Trump and the GOP are doing right now. I would be terrified if I lived in South Korea or Japan.

Or Guam. They're telling people to seek shelter in caves now! Nice going, "dealmaker".
