The rationale is that it's part of the shift to large-scale testing of passengers, but you have to wonder.

Maybe a move to embarrass Biden, who will no doubt reimpose the ban? That would also piss off a number of people.

The airlines have been pushing it for some time; maybe he's angling for free lifetime trips, now that he won't have access to Air Force 1?

A more cynical assessment would be that, as we've just crossed the 400K mark for Covid deaths here, the day before he's finally gone, he wants to ramp up the numbers for Biden's first months, making his own "accomplishment" in that area not look so bad.

But nobody could be that callous toward human lives. Could they?

This guy told 20,000 people to march on the Capitol, in his name, and that he'd be right there with them. Then he went home, watched the show on his living room T.V., and subsequently complained that the rioters looked "low class".

Y'think Trump ever even took a good gander at the people at his rallies?

Christ. It's sad that so many completely fucked Americans are willing to give their all for this grifter of all grifters.

It is a bitter-sweet day for me joy that we have a real President and grief that my Lady Joyce died on the 11th of this month.

So sorry to hear your sad news about Joyce, Kyote.
I saw she was in hospital on another forum, just hadn't appreciated how serious it was.
My thoughts are with you.
Take care of yourself.

You already know the answer to that.
Trump is channeling Stalin. “One man’s death is a tragedy. A million is a statistic.”
We are so jaded by a 911 or Pearl Harbor a day (and it’s more than that) that Donald’s good name is more important.

Read today that quite a few of the Q folks are shell shocked. They’re beginning to think that maybe Trump “played” them.
If there was ever anything consistent about Trump, it was his inconsistency. They were dumb enough to not realize that it’s all about Trump, and not them.

Trump’s been pretty consistently a grifter and his supporters are often the same sort of people who went to his cassinos, attended his university, and bought his steaks.
