By all means. Seems only fair.
Savour away!
Though, as I pointed out earlier, the referendum is not legally binding - it is only advisory. Dave et al are under no obligation to do as the nation (very narrowly) wishes. Though it is hard to imagine how, right here, right now, that it won't now happen. At some point.

If Dave lobs that particular grenade at the baying mob I hope he's got what's left of the armed forces on standby to subdue the revolution.

Feel free, we had a vote and you won convincingly, no argument there.

Now you got what you wanted, don't fuck it up. We all have to live with your choice, so I'm hoping you know what you're doing.

Even he's not that dumb. I hope he's gone by midday, though I doubt it.

Cease being an agent provocateur, my amour propre is shattered by this volte face. A faux pas of this magnitude has been the result of a tour de force of argumentum ad populum politics.

That's assuming we do leave. There's only been 9 results in as I type.

I'm sure you are right

Bloody hell will you lot get a grip? I'm as surprised as the next guy but we are where we are. Last I checked we'd managed quite well as an independent nation for about 1600 years (give or take the odd invasion) and I doubt we've lost the ability to govern ourselves in the last 40.
And I don't see this as a victory for 'little Englanders' though I have no doubt many will try and spin it that way. I see it as a dramatic failure of the Remain camp and the EU itself to offer anything other than threats. That pissed a lot of people off. Telling people they're effectively third rate and couldn't possibly stand on their own two feet (while simultaneously being in the G8 and vital to the EU's future) was a pretty fucking stupid route to go down.
