Yet another screeching u-turn by Johnson and Co. Any more and they'll disappear up their own arseholes.

They'll be giving partial visas to foreign butchers to ease the demand...

...but only if they speak good, solid, English, dammit!

Remind me what Brexit was about again?
Taking control and securing borders against foreigners?

Mr Poots (DUP, NI Agriculture Minister) ordered the checks on food and agricultural products moving between NI and Britain to stop on Wednesday. The officials on the ground appeared to have ignored this order.
So Paul Givan (DUP, First Minister) resigned, crashing Stormont again and ever so slightly buggering up the NI EU Brexit protocol, the GFA and the Shinners (which is the funny bit).
It also fucks up NI government again so nurses won't get pay rises, NHS and social care problems will be unaddressed and Covid regulations are stuck where they are.
On the bright side nobody will have to listen to this failed South Armagh Brigade ( ) IRA cunt counting on his fingers as he tries to deliver the budget

(Oh yeah, this is Conor Murphy, strategically shaved gibbon, posing as Finance Minister :loopy: )

Not my favorite Johnson comparing Ukrainians fighting for freedom with Brits voting for Brexit...

He's sort of right, but the comparison would have him playing Putin, Farage and co. as the oligarchs and the duped Brexiteers as Zeemen.

I see the EU took Boris' words in the spirit they were intended.

He has the natural ability to put both feet in his mouth at inopportune moments. Just ask the recently released Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe :|

Poor old Nazanin gets home and doesn't show the proper respect for being 'saved' by the PM who got her another 4 years in gaol with his foot in mouth waffling.

Social media thinks she was ungrateful for having another 4 years in her homeland courtesy of dePfeffel. Miserable bitch she missed Covid and everything!

Wonder how the Digital Markets Act is coming along?

Theoretically supposed to come into force in October - not passed into EU legislation yet though.
Meanwhile some people are not happy and a bipartisan group of US politicians in the tech lobby pockets are trying to get Joe to stop the DMA.
So far Joe has stuck to the principles he had when he could remember what they were and let his anti-trust appointees block these siren MAGA voices.

Let's see what happens once he's forced the EU onto the US energy lobby's teat.
