US drug firms say it will be easier to hike prices to NHS after Brexit, document reveals: 'It should prove easier to overcome these challenges with the UK as an individual negotiating partner'...
The prospectus sets out how pharmaceutical companies will demand new rules that “prohibit discrimination” against foreign suppliers and end “restrictions on the number of suppliers”.

Written by the US Chamber of Commerce last month, it notes the failed three-long battle to strike a deal with the EU, which collapsed partly because of fears over opening up public health services.

And, crucially, it states: “Concerns about potential impacts on Britain's National Health Service are being aired.

“It should prove easier to overcome these challenges with the UK as an individual negotiating partner.”

Dutch cartoonists can see what’s happening to the UK – even if our citizens can’t...

It shows Boris Johnson, his back to us, raping – that’s right, raping – the UK, while others including Jacob Rees-Mogg, Dominic Cummings and Nigel Farage wait their turn to do the same. The other one may be Michael Gove, according to a commenter to This Site.

Meanwhile a representative of the BBC – who looks uncannily like the granny from the old Times ‘Giles’ cartoons, tells members of the public: “Move along now. Nothing to see here.”

Go figure. Granny Giles would be a Brexiter.

Trump threatened UK with 25% car tariffs unless it agreed to accuse Iran of breaking nuclear deal: Tehran accuses Britain, France and Germany of succumbing to 'high school bully'...
Donald Trump threatened the UK with a 25 per cent tariff on its cars unless the British government officially accused Iran of breaking the 2015 nuclear deal, it has been reported.

The secret threat last week, first reported by The Washington Post, which cited unnamed European officials, would have seen the tariff imposed on all European automobile imports to the US unless Britain, France and Germany agreed to the ultimatum.

It came days before the three European Union powers on Tuesday triggered a dispute mechanism under the agreement which does amount to a formal accusation against Tehran of violating its terms. It could lead to the reinstatement of United Nations sanctions, but is being framed by the Europeans as the last chance to save the nuclear deal.

So much for regaining sovereignty...

Happy sovereignty! :P
All the talk of the UK pound crashing had me looking forward to bagging some miniatures bargains. Turns out the Aussie Peso has been dropping even faster than the pound. :(
I Froth because I care about miniatures.
